For years, she dreamed of creating a platform to celebrate them. When her son, Ikshan Rao, encouraged her to take the first step, that dream became SunUp Stories.

SunUp Stories began with a simple belief, every person has a story worth sharing. After years of volunteering and serving communities, Bharti Yadav met countless people whose kindness, resilience, and compassion inspired everyone around them. Yet their stories were rarely being told.

For years, she dreamed of creating a platform that celebrated these everyday heroes. It was her son, Ikshan Rao, who encouraged her to stop waiting and bring that vision to life. Together, they transformed an idea into SunUp Stories, a platform dedicated to celebrating everyday people, strengthening communities, and inspiring hope through meaningful conversations. Today, every episode is a reminder that we have more in common than what sets us apart.

As the founder of SunUp Stories, a community volunteer, and storyteller, she is passionate about bringing people together through meaningful conversations, service, and compassion. Her mission is simple. Celebrate People. Strengthen Communities. Inspire Hope. Make the World a Happier Place.

Through every episode, volunteer effort, and conversation, Bharti shines a light on the people whose everyday actions make a positive difference. She believes that when we celebrate the good in others, we inspire more good in the world.

Ikshan Rao is the Co-Partner of SunUp Stories, working alongside founder Bharti Yadav to transform a vision of acceptance, empathy, and connection into a growing platform for meaningful conversations.

When Bharti hesitated to pursue her long-held dream, Ikshan encouraged her to take the first step. From the earliest planning stages to the launch of the first episode, he helped build the podcast from the ground up, leading production, technology, marketing, and strategy.

Inspired by entrepreneurship, leadership, and community impact, Ikshan believes meaningful conversations can bridge cultures, generations, and communities. As SunUp Stories continues to grow, he remains committed to creating a platform where every voice has the opportunity to be heard.
